Draft: pending legal review

Terms of service

Last updated October 13, 2026

These terms apply to businesses that sign up for Missly. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Missly texts back people who call your business and don't get through, holds the text conversation (with AI on plans that include it), and can book appointments into your Google Calendar. Texts are sent from a phone number Missly provides for your business.

Your responsibilities

  • Give accurate business, service, pricing and carrier-registration information.
  • Use Missly only to reply to people who contacted your business. No marketing blasts, purchased lists or unrelated messages.
  • Follow the laws that apply to your texting and calls, including honoring opt-outs. Missly applies STOP requests and quiet hours automatically, but you remain responsible for how you use the service.
  • Keep your login secure and review what the AI tells your customers.

Carrier registration

US carriers require businesses to register before texting. Missly submits your registration through Twilio. Carriers decide whether and when to approve it, and texting stays off until they do.

Trial, billing and cancellation

  • Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You add a card when you start it, and it's charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first.
  • Plans renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel any time from Settings → Billing.
  • Each plan includes a monthly text allowance. Going over doesn't stop texting; we'll let you know and may suggest a larger plan.
  • If a payment fails and isn't resolved, texting pauses. Your data is kept for the normal retention period.

AI replies

The AI answers from the information you provide and your calendar availability. It can make mistakes. You can take over any conversation, turn the AI off, and flag replies for review.

Availability

We work to keep Missly running at all times, but phone carriers, Twilio, Google and other providers can have outages that delay or block texts. Missly isn't an emergency service.

Data

You own your business's data. We handle it as described in our privacy policy.
